STAMPIN' UP! LAYERS OF BEAUTY CARD IN PETUNIA POP

Today I am sharing card number 2 in my Layers of Beauty series.  Again I have stamped the main image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, on Basic White card.  I used the masks to colour the image, applying ink with Blending Brushes.  There are five masks in the bundle - 3 layers of colour for the flowers, and 2 for the leaves.  I used only Petunia Pop ink for the flowers, applying a little more ink and pressure each time to provide depth of colour.  The leaves were first coloured with Granny Apple Green ink, and I used Old Olive ink for the second layer.

Isn't this new In Color just gorgeous?  Check out the sweet Petunia Pop Shimmer Gems:

Here's a closer look at the roses, and the three layers of ink applied.  The masks really make you feel like you're an artist, but in reality it's a super-simple process that anyone can do!

I used two patterned papers from the In Color 6"x6" DSP pack, and covered the join between them with a sliver of Granny Apple Green card.  Using the leaf dies from the Layers of Beauty bundle, I cut some extra foliage from Granny Apple Green card, and tucked it behind the main stamped and die-cut image.

The sentiment is from the Country Flowers stamp set.  I used Versamark ink to stamp it on a strip of Basic Black card.  After sprinkling white embossing powder over the ink (and tapping off the excess), I set it using my heat tool.  The sentiment was then cropped with an Unbounded Love die, and embellished with a Shimmer Gem and a bow made from Petunia Pop Bordered Ribbon.

Listed below are the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.  NB:  The Wow!
