STAMPIN' UP! COUNTRY FLOWERS BIRTHDAY CARD #2 FEATURING PEACH PIE

While I had out the supplies to make my card for this week's Colour Creations blog hop, I made a second card.  This time I have used Peach Pie with Berry Burst.

The Smoky Slate background paper I have used is from the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper pack.  Using Smoky Slate ink, I stamped the same floral image as my focal point, but stamped it off the edge of the paper, along the top and bottom.  After sponging the edges of this paper with Smoky Slate ink, I matted it on a layer of Berry Burst card.

Here's a closer look at the top of the card.  The sentiment, stamped in Basic Gray ink on Basic White card, is from the Country Birdhouse stamp set.  I cut it out using a Happy Little Things Die, then layered it on a strip of ombre Berry Burst paper, from the Bright & Beautiful DSP pack.  The Berry Burst flowers were cut (using Country Flowers Dies) from the same paper.  The Peach Pie flowers were cut from Peach Pie DSP, from the 2024-2026 In Color 6"x6" Designer Series Paper pack.  The same paper was used for the focal circle on my card.  I used a Blending Brush to add Peach Pie ink to the paper, to tone down the white pattern.

The flowers, and bucket, were stamped in Basic Gray ink on Basic White card, and cut out using co-ordinating dies from the Country Flowers bundle.  I coloured the flowers using Peach Pie and Berry Burst Stampin' Blends (and Color Lifter), and the leaves using Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends.  The bucket was coloured with Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends, and the Color Lifter.

I added Smoky Slate Pearls to the main art piece, and Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the two Berry Burst die-cut DSP flowers.

The second part of the sentiment is another stamp from the Country Birdhouse stamp set.  It was stamped in Basic Gray ink on a strip of Basic White card.

All of the products I have used to make my card are available in my online store.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on the "Shop Online Now" button in the sidebar of my blog.
