STAMPIN' UP! HEART OF CHRISTMAS - WEEK 22

Tonight's Heart of Christmas blog hop is the last one for 2021.  I have so enjoyed taking part in the weekly blog hops, and hope you have gained lots of inspiration from our projects, to make Christmas cards with Stampin' Up! products.

My card features a design cut from the Knit Sweater Dies, and some papers from the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper pack.

I started off by laying four strip dies (zig zag borders top and bottom, reindeer, and trees) across a piece of Basic White card, and running it through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine.  After removing the pieces that cut out, I used the dies again on Real Red (for the zig zag borders), Crumb Cake and Soft Suede (for the reindeer), Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzazz (for the trees) cardstock.  I then inlaid/added the pieces to the original panel.  Using Adhesive Sheets on the backs of all the die cut pieces made it cleaner and easier to do this!

This decorated panel was stuck down once I had layered some striped paper with a Pear Pizzazz mat onto a Thick Basic White card base, and added a Basic White scalloped rectangle cut with the Stitched so Sweetly Dies.

I used my Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends marker to colour a length of Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon, and used it to make a bow.  Real Red Wonderful Gems were also added.

The sentiment, from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set, was stamped in Real Red ink on a smaller Stitched So Sweetly die-cut piece.  After adhering it to the larger scalloped rectangle, I added a few Wonderful Gems (don't they look like berries, grouped like this?), and a couple of little Christmas trees cut from a different piece of Heartwarming Hugs DSP.

Next up on tonight's blog hop is Claire Daly.  If you click on the button below, you'll be taken to her blog.
