STAMPIN' UP! HEART OF CHRISTMAS - WEEK 20

A group of us, part of the Art With Heart Stampin' Up! team in Australia, shares our Christmas creations every Monday night until the end of November.  We hope to inspire you to use Stampin' Up! products on your Christmas cards and handmade gifts.

My share tonight is featuring the Whimsical Trees stamp set.  I first die-cut two Tailor Made Tags from Basic White card, and stamped the images on them while they were placed together, one above the other.  I stamped the Christmas tree in Mossy Meadow ink (then coloured it using Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends markers), and the ornaments in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The ornaments were coloured using Stampin' Blends markers in Real Red, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow.  I added Wink of Stella to the ornament tops, and beneath the tree.

Before adhering the decorated tags to the background panel of Designer Series Paper, I die-cut (using a  Penned Flowers die) a scalloped border from a contrasting piece of the Heartwarming Hugs DSP.

The sentiment, stamped in Real Red ink using an Inspired Thoughts stamp, was cut out using an Ornate Frames die.  I cut two more of the same shape, using Real Red card, and trimmed the ends down to use it as a mat for the stamped sentiment.  A Real Red satin bow, and some Wonderful Gems, were added as finishing touches.

Can you see the sparkle of the Wink of Stella on the ornament tops?  I can see where I smudged some ink, unknowingly!  We'll just ignore that, shall we?!
