One of the new Stampin' Up! products I am really excited about is the Picture This Dies collection. I used the die with the rectangular apertures here, and on today's card I have used the other die, that has circular apertures.
I cut the circles (all six circles cut in the one pass through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine) from a piece of striped paper, from the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper pack. After inking the edges of the paper with Highland Heather ink, I matted the panel on Highland Heather card. I've decorated each circle differently, using Gorgeous Grape for the flowers and Pear Pizzazz for the stems and leaves.
In the top left opening, I've tucked a floral die-cut piece that I first stamped. Isn't it cute how the die also cuts some semi-circular detail around the flower head?
The sentiment was stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink, on a stitched circle left over from having die-cut a piece of Basic White card with the same Picture This Die. It's popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals. I have added a few Pastel Pearls near the sentiment. A smaller Basic White circle has been glued into the opening of the middle left-hand cut out, and a die-cut flower and some leaves added.
The close up of this part of the card shows I was a little "off" with my die-cutting, after stamping the sweet stems and flowers! However, I wanted you to see the pretty bow I added, using Gorgeous Grape sheer ribbon. I don't think I've used this ribbon before (despite having had it for a while). It's just right on this card, though, don't you think?
Listed below are all the products I used to make this card. If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
