STAMPIN' UP! BEAUTY OF THE EARTH MASCULINE BIRTHDAY CARD

I die-cut several trees and canopies in one session a couple of weeks ago. Today's card is the last creation using those die cuts.  I've used the Autumn leaves-look paper (from the Beauty of the Earth DSP pack) for the tree, but incorporated more green, and a couple of earthy elements, on my card, which I think makes it look more masculine.

Can you see the lightly embossed line border close to the edge of the Mossy Meadow panel (behind the Crumb Cake scalloped rectangle)?  I'd originally planned to use a scalloped-edge on the green piece, but ended up trimming off the scallops.  I like the subtle detail of the line around the edge.

In this close up photo, you can better see the embossing on the Crumb Cake piece, showing detail of the Bark 3D embossing folder.  The sentiment, from the Art Gallery stamp set, was stamped in Versamark ink on Mossy Meadow card, heat-embossed with white embossing powder,  and cropped using one of the rectangles from the Beautiful Trees Dies.  I raised the sentiment piece up on Mini Stampin' Dimensionals, and added a double-knotted piece of Linen Thread (double strands).  I used the sharp tip of my Paper Snips to separate the fibres of the thread.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
