STAMPIN' UP! ARTISTICALLY INKED BIRTHDAY CARD

It is Autumn in Australia, and although we're barrelling towards Winter there are still some beautiful Autumn colours around in nature.  I felt inspired to make some cards with Autumnal colours, so broke out my new Artistically Inked bundle to come up with something a little unexpected (when faced with the colour schemes showcased in the Stampin' Up! catalogue).

I started off creating a background on Very Vanilla card, using my favourite Stitched Greenery Die.  I then made a flower and leaf arrangement, using stamping and die cutting.  I die cut the large leafy piece from Soft Suede card, and left intact all the little pieces that I'd normally poke out from the leaves.  I stamped and die cut more leaves, using Very Vanilla card and Soft Suede, Cinnamon Cider, and Crumb Cake inks.  The flowers were stamped in Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze inks, on Very Vanilla card, then die cut.

You can better see the background detail, and leaf die cuts, in this photo.  I added a bow made from Very Vanilla twine, that is part of the new Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.  Champagne Rhinestones provide a bit of bling.

I was over the moon to see a vertical birthday greeting stamp in the new Celebrate With Flowers set.  I stamped it in Pumpkin Pie ink, on a piece of Very Vanilla card, that I then trimmed to size.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
