STAMPIN' UP! BEAUTY OF FRIENDSHIP "HELLO" CARD

I am always drawn to tree stamps and dies, so buying the Beauty of Friendship bundle was a no-brainer for me.  The fact that there is also a sweet die with a couple of little birds just sealed the deal!  I haven't used the bird die on today's card, but have a few more cards to share in the coming days.

The embossed background on today's card is a piece of Crumb Cake card run through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine, using the new Bark 3D embossing folder.  I used a sponge dauber to add Crumb Cake ink to the raised areas.  The scalloped rectangle was cut with the new Scalloped Contour Dies, that have already got a good workout - I love them.

To create my tree, I die-cut three layers.  The base layer is a Cinnamon Cider tree canopy, that I embossed with a Greenery embossing folder.  The middle layer is an Early Espresso tree trunk and branches.  On top, I added a tree canopy cut from the beautiful Autumn paper in the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper pack.

In this close-up, you can see the embossing on the Cinnamon Cider tree canopy, and the lovely patterned paper detail:

I think the tone of the Champagne Rhinestones is perfect for this card.  I scattered them on my card, including on the sentiment rectangle which was stamped in Early Espresso and die-cut using one of the sentiment dies from the Beauty of Friendship bundle.  A Cinnamon Cider bow finishes off the card.
