In a recent conversation with my neighbour, who is also a card maker, I was talking about the Colour Creations Showcase I take part in every week. She asked me if I make the same card, but in different colours, each week - as that's what she'd do! (Clearly we have different creative processes, 😄.)
I've taken a leaf out of Carolyn's book, and recreated one of my earlier cards in this week's colour of Purple Posy. I rather like this concept, so might do more of it! I have coloured some Peony Garden Designer Series Paper, with my Dark Purple Posy Stampin' Blends marker.
The sentiment, from the Vine Design stamp set, was stamped in Versamark ink on a strip of Basic White card, and heat embossed in silver. I used one of the awesome Field Tiles Dies to cut around the sentiment, and popped up the die cut shape on Stampin' Dimensionals. I love how this particular die is a great fit across a standard card front. Using my Dark Purple Posy Stampin' Blends marker, I coloured some Silver Metallic-Edged Ribbon. This is a favourite technique of mine, to custom-match ribbon to my project. I added some rhinestones to finish off my simple card design.
Listed below are all the products I used to make this card. If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
