STAMPIN' UP! STITCHED STARS ORANGE & BLACK BIRTHDAY CARD

 Last week, when I made a card in the colour Pumpkin Pie, I ended up with some leftover die cut stars on my desk.  Because I enjoyed working with orange much more than expected, I decided to utilise these "bits", and make yet another Pumpkin Pie card.  I've incorporated a Basic Black background on this one, to give it a slightly more dramatic look.

I used the Absolutely Argyle 3D embossing folder, to emboss the Basic Black panel, before adhering stars in Pumpkin Pie, Smoky Slate, Basic White and Basic Black.  The stamped "birthday" is from the Well Said stamp set - stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White card, and cropped with a Tasteful Labels die.  Holiday Rhinestones have been added to the die-cut stitched banner.

The argyle embossed pattern is a little clearer in this photo.  I die cut the "HAPPY" from Pumpkin Pie Designer Series Paper, using the Happy Dies.
