STAMPIN' UP! STAR BIRTHDAY CARD IN PUMPKIN PIE

 Despite thinking I had quite an aversion to Pumpkin Pie, I created a second card after I'd made my card for last night's Colour Creations Showcase.  The colour combination on today's card is Pumpkin Pie, Smoky Slate, Basic Black, and white.

I have used a combination of stencilled and die-cut stars, in the various colours.  I started out by die-cutting a Stitched Nested Label from Basic White card.  I cut a few different-sized Stitched Stars from another piece of card, and used Blending Brushes and the negative space left by the die cuts, to add inky stars to my panel.  I offset a couple of the stars to give a slightly imperfect look, because, let's face it, life is imperfect and messy!

After decorating the Stitched Nested Label with stars using Blending Brushes and Pumpkin Pie and Smoky Slate ink, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I adhered some die-cut stars to the card after assembling the layers.
