STAMPIN' UP! PAPER BLOOMS CARD IN BLUES

 With Sale-A-Bration coming to an end tomorrow, I thought I should create some more cards using the beautiful Paper Blooms Designer Series Papers.  These papers can be earned for FREE, with a $90 product order, until the close of business tomorrow.  I love the somewhat dramatic background, of the paper in Seaside Spray and Night of Navy.  All of the gorgeous flowers, and the leaves, have been cut from another sheet of DSP in the pack (it has big watercolour-look circles in different colours), using my favourite Pierced Blooms Dies.

On a Basic White scalloped rectangle, cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, I stamped some flowers, in Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray inks. After inking the stamps each time, I stamped off onto scrap paper first, before making the impression, so the flowers were subtle in the background.  In this photo, you can also see the beautiful Woven Threads Sequins, and a bow die-cut from Rococo Rose card.

Here you can better see the die-cut flowers, and the watercolour wash effect on the paper I used.  That gorgeous sentiment is from the Berry Blessings stamp set, also a Sale-A-Bration freebie.  If you spend $180+ on product, you can earn this stamp set and co-ordinating Designer Series Paper.
