STAMPIN' UP! CORNER BOUQUET HEAL YOUR HEART CARD

 A technique I have wanted to try for a while, and have employed on this card, is stamping an image in Versamark ink on black card, white heat-embossing it, and colouring it using Stampin' Blends markers.  I have used the large stamp from Corner Bouquet, one of the stamp sets you can earn for FREE until 28th February, by placing a $90+ Stampin' Up! order.

After white-embossing the image, I coloured it using various Stampin' Blends markers, and cut a frame around the card panel using a Lasting Elegance die.

The colours of the Stampin' Blends ink brightened as the ink dried on the embossed surface; all of the colours were quite pale when I applied them.  I used the Dark marker from each Stampin' Blends combo, with the exception of Night of Navy (I used only the Light in this colour).

The sentiment, from the Heal Your Heart stamp set (also FREE with a $90+ order until 28th February), has been white-embossed on Balmy Blue card.  I cut a stitched circle using the Stitched Shapes dies, and added a couple of Balmy Blue DSP hearts, cut using another die in the Lasting Elegance set.  A few white butterflies finish off the card.
