Today's card is all about Poppy Parade, which is one of the colours of flowers on the beautiful Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. After overlaying a piece of Golden Garden acetate on the DSP (adhering it in spots with dabs of Stampin' Seal+), I matted the floral panel on a piece of Whisper White card.
I chose the small spray of flowers from the Art Gallery stamp set, and coloured directly on the stamp with Poppy Parade and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Write Markers. I stamped the image onto a piece of Whisper White card, and die-cut it. After adding a few highlights, with the same markers, to the stamped image, I decided to add some Gilded Leafing - my first time playing with this product. Oh my goodness, it is fun! I achieved the gilded look by stamping, in Versamark ink, over the flowers. I added Heat & Stick powder, and melted it with my heat tool. After pressing the sticky image into some Gilded Leafing flakes, I used a sponge to brush off the excess.
