STAMPIN' UP! LET'S GO FISHING BIRTHDAY CARD

Playing around with Calypso Coral for this week's Colour Creations blog hop, I came up with this birthday card, featuring the awesome Let's Go Fishing Designer Series Papers from Stampin' Up!  I have let the papers do all the talking ... the only stamping is the sentiment.

I am in love with the "textured" look of these papers.  I cut the three fish from one of the sheets of patterned paper, and sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink.

The sentiment, from Beautiful Balloons, was stamped directly onto a piece of DSP, and cut out using a Nested Essentials Die.  I sponged the edges of this piece with Crumb Cake ink, as I did the papers with the watery and fly patterns.

A few Ombre Matte Decorative Dots were added to the sentiment panel, to bring out the Calypso Coral in the background paper.

I added a Calypso Coral border, created with a Basic Borders Die, to the central strip of paper.
