Another, smaller, piece of Crumb Cake card was cut with the Grove Die that creates a frame. I used my Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends marker to colour the tree trunks, and Pretty Peacock Stampin' Blends to colour the foliage. Using the direct-to-rubber technique, I coloured the tree stamp with Copper Clay and Pretty Peacock Stampin' Write markers (these are water-based, and a great alternative to inkpads for inking up stamps, especially if you want two or more colours applied to the stamp). The Stamparatus came in handy to stamp this image on a scrap of Crumb Cake card. After I'd stamped it, I was able to apply more colour to the stamp, with the markers, and over-stamp to get good colour coverage. The trees were cut out with a Grove Die, and stuck down over the frame (tucking the trunks under some grassy bits). Here's a closer look at that detail:
Inside the card, I added a panel of Crumb Cake card, sponged with Crumb Cake ink. I stamped this piece with the same background stamp used on the front, and added a die-cut deer that had been stamped on Crumb Cake card in Copper Clay ink:
