I am so happy to have big balloons (stamps and dies) back in Stampin' Up!'s range, as they can be used for so many different celebratory occasions.
The card I'm sharing today is a (very) pink baby card, using Beautiful Balloons as the feature. The ombre background is a piece of paper from the Bright & Beautiful DSP pack. After stamping the balloon strings in Basic Gray ink, I embossed the paper with a Basics 3D embossing folder, that I think gives it the look of a baby blanket. Bubble Bath ink was sponged around the edges of this panel before it was adhered to a layer of Bubble Bath card.
Each balloon has been stamped differently. The left-hand large balloon was stamped first (the solid balloon shape) in Bubble Bath ink on Bubble Bath card. I added the confetti stamped design in Moody Mauve ink. The same inks were used on the right-hand large balloon, but stamped onto Basic White card. The smaller of the three balloons was first die-cut from Bubble Bath card, and quite heavily sponged with Bubble Bath ink. I stamped the sentiment, from Charming Sentiments, in Moody Mauve ink, and added a tiny Moody Mauve heart cut using an Around The Bend Die.
Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon is a great match for Moody Mauve. I used two lengths of this lovely ribbon to create my bow.
Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins proved to be a lovely embellishment for my card; isn't the pink gorgeous?
