My neighbours, who have become good friends, celebrated a milestone wedding anniversary on the weekend. I made them a card, featuring beautiful papers (4 different designs) from the Delicate Desert DSP pack.
After attaching some Adhesive Sheet to the back of a piece of Soft Succulent card, I cut out the numbers and letters using Alphabet A La Mode dies. I then peeled off the backing paper, and was able to cleanly stick dow the die-cut pieces directly to the gorgeous paper.
I love the big sentiments in the Kind & Sincere stamp set. The "Congratulations" was stamped in Soft Succulent ink on a piece of Gray Granite Designer Series Paper. Using my Stamparatus, I was able to stamp the word a few times, to get good concentration of colour. Before adhering this strip to the card, I sponged around the edges with Gray Granite ink.
The "Happy Anniversary", from Ringed With Nature, was stamped in Gray Granite ink on a piece of Designer Series Paper, and cut using a Sending Die. I sponged around the edges of this piece, and the background Soft Succulent papers, with Soft Succulent ink.
Across the card I laid a strip of Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon. I then added a piece of the same ribbon knotted with Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon. Glue Dots hold the ribbon in place.
I stamped three flowers, from the Framed Florets bundle, in Gray Granite ink on a piece of the Pale Papaya dotty paper in the Delicate Desert DSP pack. After adding a bit more colour with Pale Papaya Stampin' Blends, I cut out the flowers using co-ordinating dies. The flower centres are adorned with Soft Succulent Adhesive-Backed Pearls.
