Every Monday night, until mid-December, a group of us (all Stampin' Up! demonstrators in Australia) takes part in a blog hop, to share ideas for using Stampin' Up! products to make your Christmas cards and projects.
Tonight I have to share with you a card made with the Whimsical Trees bundle, in colours taken from the beautiful Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper. I really love the muted tones of Mint Macaron and Misty Moonlight together.I stamped the two larger trees in Mint Macaron ink, on Basic White card, and added the "bauble" overlay stamp in Misty Moonlight ink. The smaller trees are die cut from Mint Macaron card, and from Silver Foil paper (from the Silver Foil Specialty Pack). I also die cut the tiny stars from this paper.
The panel of beautiful Mint Macaron patterned paper is edged at the bottom with a Basic Borders die cut, in Mint Macaron card.
I stamped the sentiment in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White card, and cut it out using a Tasteful Labels Die. The bow (made of twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo) perfectly complements the colours on the card, don't you think?
Next up on tonight's blog hop is my dear friend Theresa. If you click on the button below, you will be taken to her blog:
