STAMPIN' UP! HEART OF CHRISTMAS - WEEK 13

Every Monday night, I take part in a blog hop with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators from the Art With Heart team in Australia.  We're sharing Christmas creations made with Stampin' Up! products.

The card I am sharing tonight features Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper, and Be Dazzling Specialty Paper - two of the items you can earn for FREE during Sale-a-Bration, which ends on Thursday this week.

I stamped three trees, from the Whimsical Trees stamp set, in Garden Green ink on Garden Green card, then cut them out using the co-ordinating dies.  Each tree is mounted on a different patterned piece of Peaceful Prints DSP (try saying that ten times, quickly!).  Before adhering the trees, I had cut the paper with Layering Circles Dies, and sponged the edges of the circles with Garden Green ink.

To the smaller trees I added a tiny star cut from Be Dazzling Specialty Paper.  The taller tree is adorned with Be Dazzling tiny baubles.

The sentiment, from Christmas to Remember, was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a scrap of the same paper I've used in the background of my card.  I cropped the sentiment with a Seasonal Labels Die, and sponged the edges with Sahara Sand ink.

As my card base is Garden Green, and a little dark to write on, I added a Basic White panel of card to the inside.  I added a thin strip of the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper to the top and bottom, to tie in with the sparkle on the front of the card:

Next up on tonight's blog hop is my dear friend Theresa Gerrard.   If you click on the button below, you will be taken to her blog.

If you come across any broken links on tonight's blog hop, or would like to see a comprehensive list of who is taking part in this week's share, head over to Sharon Davern's blog.  Sharon is co-ordinating our blog hop this week.

Listed below are all the products I used to make my card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

  1. I love the circle layout and the glittered bow to mimic Christmas baubles. The large Be Dazzling panel is stunning as are the little embellishments on the trees and the thin strips on the inside panel.

  2. What a great layout, Christine! Those circles add so much visual interest and are a great way to bring the different DSPs onto the card front. Of course you already know I ADORE the Be Dazzling ornaments and stars.

  3. Your card must truly sparkle and shine IRL when it catches the light Christine. I love those tiny sweet baubles and the sparkly stars atop the trees. Your card shows off these particular Peaceful Prints DSP perfectly - try saying that 10 times really quickly, lol. xx

  7. What a great way to use up the retiring DSP. I especially love the Be Dazzling baubles on the tree and as always you tie the best bows. The inside of your card is just perfect with just enough bling.
