AWHT COLOUR CREATIONS BLOG HOP - WEEK 1: 2021-2023 IN COLORS

Have you been enjoying the Colour Creations Showcase every week?  We are continuing for another year, but in a different format, to show off Stampin' Up!'s colours in alphabetical order.  Cathy Proctor hosts our shares each week. Tonight we are focussing on the 2021-2023 In Colors (shown below), in a blog hop, before beginning again next week with colours in alphabetical order.  We will, going forward, share our creations in this traditional blog hop format.  All you need to do, to hop around the loop, is click on the "next" button at the bottom of each participant's blog post.

Here are this week's colours (left to right, top then bottom) - Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, and Fresh Freesia:

At first, I wasn't sure I could make a card incorporating all of these colours!  However, I've managed to create what I think is a rather sweet card, featuring the Plentiful Plants bundle, and Picture This Dies.  After cutting a piece of Basic White card with the Picture This Die, I embossed it with one of the Greenery Embossing Folders.

Here is a close-up of the details on the bottom two circles.  All pots have been stamped in Pale Papaya ink.  The tiny heart inside the stitched circle at the bottom was cut using the Baby Clothes Dies:

... and the top four circles, including the sentiment (stamped using the Art Gallery stamp set, and cut out using the Hydrangea Dies).  The sentiment is stamped in Evening Evergreen, as are the succulents in the top right-hand pot.  The leaves behind the Linen Thread bow are stamped in Soft Succulent ink:

If you click on the graphic below, you'll be taken to the next blog on tonight's hop, belonging to Rachel Woollard,  to get more inspiration for using the beautiful new In Colors.

I have listed below all the products used to make my card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

  1. It certainly is a sweet card - the tiny flowers are adorable! I like how you've only exposed three of the circles, it really adds versatility to the die. I thought I could make do with just the DSP from this suite, but I think I may need to get the rest of it, too!
