Have you been enjoying the Colour Creations Showcase every week? We are continuing for another year, but in a different format, to show off Stampin' Up!'s colours in alphabetical order. Cathy Proctor hosts our shares each week. Tonight we are focussing on the 2021-2023 In Colors (shown below), in a blog hop, before beginning again next week with colours in alphabetical order. We will, going forward, share our creations in this traditional blog hop format. All you need to do, to hop around the loop, is click on the "next" button at the bottom of each participant's blog post.
Here are this week's colours (left to right, top then bottom) - Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, and Fresh Freesia:
At first, I wasn't sure I could make a card incorporating all of these colours! However, I've managed to create what I think is a rather sweet card, featuring the Plentiful Plants bundle, and Picture This Dies. After cutting a piece of Basic White card with the Picture This Die, I embossed it with one of the Greenery Embossing Folders.
If you click on the graphic below, you'll be taken to the next blog on tonight's hop, belonging to Rachel Woollard, to get more inspiration for using the beautiful new In Colors.
It certainly is a sweet card - the tiny flowers are adorable! I like how you've only exposed three of the circles, it really adds versatility to the die. I thought I could make do with just the DSP from this suite, but I think I may need to get the rest of it, too!
ReplyDeleteChristine this card is so clever and so very beautiful. I can't stop looking at all the tiny details - stunning!
ReplyDeleteWow, so much amazing detail! Love the embossing and colour combo. Those cute little flower flourishes really finish your card off beautifully!
ReplyDeleteSo, so pretty, Christine. Those little flower embellishments are just a gorgeous addition. I love how you placed the succulent pots in those circles too.
ReplyDeleteOh I do love how you have subtly managed to use each of the In Colours in your beautiful card. So many gorgeous details

ReplyDeleteChristine, this is such a lovely card. I'm beginning to really like the Plentiful Plants bundle. I love how you have designed the plants to fit inside the circles of the die-cut and those sweet little Loose Flower Flourishes are just a gorgeous touch.
ReplyDeleteI like the sweet additions of the small flowers to the pots and the linen thread. A great miss you card.
