STAMPIN' UP! MEADOW DIES ENGAGEMENT CARD - ROSE GOLD

 The new Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper, from Stampin' Up!, is next-level beautiful!  It's sparkly/shimmery without being rough (or shedding any glitter), and has a beautiful fabric-like look.

I have had occasion to make two engagement cards, for two special young couples.  Such an exciting time of their lives; and a lovely reason for me to make personalised cards.  I've used the Meadow Dies, and Rose Gold paper, on the first card:

This close-up photo better shows the texture of the paper.  Isn't it gorgeous?  I applied an Adhesive Sheet to the back of a piece of Rose Gold paper before die-cutting the flowers; this made it super-easy (and clean) to adhere the flowers to the embossed circle.  The patterned paper strip on the left hand side of the card is from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper pack.  (NB:  This paper may not be purchased, but can be earnt for FREE, with a qualifying order of Stampin' Up! products.)

Look at how well the Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon goes with this lovely paper.

The sentiment (stamped and cut using the Vine Design bundle) is heat-embossed with copper embossing powder.  

I will share the second card (which features the Gold Metallic Specialty Paper) tomorrow.  I've used the same layout, but have achieved a different look by changing up papers, card and embellishments.
