STAMPIN' UP! LITTLE DREAMERS BLUE LION BABY CARD

Today's card features another of the sweet images from the Little Dreamers stamp and die bundle.   I've used creative licence, and coloured the cute lion in Boho Blue and Balmy Blue, to complement my choice of background paper (from the Countryside Inn DSP pack).

I cut two Deckled Rectangles for the focal image and mat.  After cutting the Basic White piece, I embossed it using a Basics 3D embossing folder.  The Boho Blue Deckled Rectangle has been sponged around the edges, using Boho Blue ink.

The lion was stamped in Memento Tuxedo black ink, and coloured using Boho Blue and Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends markers.  I used Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends markers to colour the stars.  The die-cut pieces were adhered to the embossed white panel, using liquid glue.

I added some Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems in Boho Blue.  After laying Basic White Herringbone Ribbon across the card, I used glue dots to add a bow made from Boho Blue Textured Ribbon.

This photo better shows the background texture.  I sponged the edges of the Designer Series Paper panel with Boho Blue ink, then matted the paper on a slightly larger Boho Blue card layer.  I then ran both layers through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine, using the same Basics 3D embossing folder used on the Basic White Deckled Rectangle.

The sentiment was stamped in Boho Blue ink on a piece of Basic White card, which I then cropped with a Deckled Rectangles Die.
