Some of my favourite papers in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue are the Abigail Rose Designer Series Papers. I've used one of the designs in two different ways on today's card - as a background, and a coloured portion used for the focal image. I used Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Markers to colour a floral spray, and cut it out using Paper Snips.
I also used the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Marker to colour some White Crinkled Seam Binding, used to create my bow. Using Penned Flowers Dies, I die-cut a few leaves from Crumb Cake DSP (from the Neutrals 6"x6" pack), and a scalloped border from Crumb Cake card.
The sentiment, from Amazing Year, was stamped in Crumb Cake ink on Basic White card, and cut out using a Stylish Shapes Die. Lovely bright Glossy Dots were my embellishment of choice.
Unfortunately it doesn't show in my photo, but I painted over the coloured flowers with Wink of Stella; they're a little bit shimmery in real life!
This card is on its way to a dear friend, whose birthday is next week. I'm hoping the cheery yellow will brighten her day. 🌞
