STAMPIN' UP! FLORAL THANK YOU CARD IN FRESH FREESIA

This week's Colour Creations blog hop is all about Fresh Freesia, one of Stampin' Up!'s 2021-2023 In Colors.

I have cut into my Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper for the first time ... there are lots of beautiful Fresh Freesia floral designs in this pack.

Onto a Thick Basic White card base, I adhered a slightly smaller panel of Thick Basic White card that I embossed with the Cascading Ruffles 3D embossing folder.  A vertical strip of DSP with sweet little Fresh Freesia flowers was added to the embossed layer.

Using Blossoming Happiness Dies, I die-cut three flowers from a sheet of Hues of Happiness DSP.  I cut the leaves using Paper Snips.  These pieces were arranged, along with a Brushed Shapes heart die-cut, on my card front.  I added some Fresh Freesia Opal Rounds for a bit of sparkle.

The sentiment, from the Big Hooray stamp set, was white heat-embossed on Fresh Freesia card, then cut out using a Potted Succulents Die.  My finishing touch was a bow made from Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon.

  3. I can't believe this is the first time you have used this DSP - I had to tell myself not to use it in case everyone thinks its the only item I own from this catalogue LOL! It is so beautiful, and I love what you have done with it - especially the addition of the brushed heart - Love That!!

  6. Oh my how have you not cut into this gorgeous paper sooner? The Cascading Ruffles is a perfect choice for the background, just enough to soften it and the addition of the heart is beautiful. The die you have used for the sentiment is perfect. Such a lovely soft card.

  7. Oh my, first time cutting into these papers?! I bet you will be on a roll now though ;) Your card is gorgeous and I think this is the first time I've seen the Ruffles folder. It sure gives a lovely texture behind your flowers. I love how you combine so many different products together. The heart tucked in behind is a great addition.

  8. I’m on my second pack of this paper, so your restraint shocks me no end. I admired your arrangement of roses, paired with a heart, quite lovely.
