This week's Stampin' Up! colour, featuring on creations of a group of us from the Art With Heart Team in Australia, is Magenta Madness. This bright pink is one of the five In Colors that form part of our colour range from 2020 to 2022.
As with every Wednesday's Colour Creations Showcase, Cathy Proctor is co-ordinating our share. She has a comprehensive list on her blog of all the participants in this week's Showcase. We would love for you to visit each of our blogs, and to leave some comment love, if you feel inspired.
To show off this very bold pink, I decided to use a lot of white on my card. I have used the lovely Borders Abound stamp set. To start with, I used my Stamparatus, and the hinge-step stamping technique, to stamp two of the borders repeatedly across a piece of Whisper White card. The flower border was stamped in Magenta Madness ink, and the leaf/vine border in Granny Apple Green ink. I then used Stampin' Blends markers in those same colours to colour the images. After I'd coloured this piece, I cut it out using an Ornate Layers die. I mounted it on another Whisper White panel, that had been cut with a larger Ornate Layers die, and embossed with the Subtle 3D embossing folder.
In this photo, you can clearly see the Subtle embossing of the larger Whisper White panel in the background:
Listed below are all the products I used to make this card. They are available to purchase from my online store, which is open 24/7 to Australian residents.

ReplyDeleteWhisper white works fabulously well with Magenta Madness and Granny Apple Green is another colour I love with it! Hinge step stamping is a technique I rarely do and one you reminded me of.
