STAMPIN' UP! RUSTIC CENTERPIECE & EVERYDAY ARCHES CHRISTMAS CARD

I'm still on a bit of a roll with the Rustic Centerpiece stamp set, working on Christmas cards because I will be away a lot in the coming months (when I'd normally be making Christmas cards).

I watercoloured the image on this one, after stamping it in StazOn Jet Black ink on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.

The card base is Crumb Cake, with a layer of Old Olive card.  I embossed a piece of Real Red Two-Tone card with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder, then sanded some of the raised design to reveal the paper's white core.

I used an Everyday Arches Die to cut out the main image.  On a scrap of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, I stamped the sentiment (from Greetings of the Season) in Real Red ink.  I then trimmed the strip to the width of the base of the arch.

Here's a closer look at the details, and my loose watercolouring.  The Adhesive-Backed Peppermints are just my favourite Christmas embellishment - so cute!
