STAMPIN' UP! RUSTIC CENTERPIECE CHRISTMAS CARD #1

Today's card features my favourite stamp from the Rustic Centerpiece stamp set.  How cute is this wooden reindeer?!

I stamped the image in Jet Black StazOn ink, on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, and cut it out using a Textured Notes Die.

To add to the rustic look, I watercoloured the stamped image a little messily.  Sorry to my friends and followers who like a perfect, clean look!  😄

These are some of my favourite details - the Real Red panel embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder, the decorative edge of the Textured Notes die-cut, and the Adhesive-Backed Peppermints:

To create the tag, I die-cut a piece of Basic White Thick card, using a Layers of Beauty die.  Using a Blending Brush, I coloured it with Crumb Cake ink.  I then stamped the sentiment, from Humble Home, in Jet Black StazOn ink.  A Linen Thread bow was attached with Liquid Glue, once everything was stuck down.

The watercolouring was done with a Water Painter and drops of reinkers in a palette.

Inside the card, I added a sentiment from Greetings of the Season, in Real Red ink.
