Stampin' Up! recently released an Online Exclusive stamp set, Jar of Joy, that co-ordinates with the Sweet Jar builder punch. This will be another of my favourite Christmas sets for this year - it's pretty cute!
Here is the first card I made with it. Please excuse the mis-alignment of the buttons and bow on the bottom gingerbread man. I was experimenting with the way I stamped the two layers (the solid design, and the outline accents), and hadn't quite got it right! I now know that I find it easier to stamp the solid layer (the Crumb Cake images on this card) first, then add the accents (in Pecan Pie).
The background paper is from the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper pack. I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink, then matted it on a Pecan Pie card layer, and a Thick Basic White card base.
The jars were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. To create the lids, I stamped the image in Versamark ink on Real Red card, then white heat-embossed it. The Sweet Jar builder punch punches out both the jar and the lid.
As well as stamping the gingerbread images inside the jars, I stamped them across the Crumb Cake background paper, in two rows.
The cute embellishments are a bow made with Real Red & White Baker's Twine, and Real Red & White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints.
