HOC WEEK 8: STAMPIN' UP! HUMBLE HOME CHRISTMAS CARD

Every Monday night, until late November, a group of us (all Stampin' Up! demostrators in Australia) is sharing Christmas projects, to inspire you to use Stampin' Up!'s gorgeous products in your Christmas crafting.

I have combined two of my favourite Christmas bundles - Humble Home, and Peaceful Season - to create the card I'm sharing tonight.  The super-festive background paper is from the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper pack.

I don't think I'll ever tire of these beautiful sentiments ... how nicely they stamp, and die-cut, and co-ordinate with one another.  I stamped "Christmas" in Garden Green ink, and cut it out with the co-ordinating die (although I now see my placement of the die was a little "off" - whoops!).  The second line of the sentiment is stamped in Real Red ink, and was cut out using a Delicate Forest Die.

Here's a closer look at one of the little houses, and the Garden Green embossed card strip.  I embossed the pattern on the Garden Green card using the Dashing Designs 3D embossing folder.  I then flipped it over, so the debossed side is showing, and inked the edges with Garden Green ink.

The houses were stamped in Jet Black StazOn ink, on Thick Basic White card.  I coloured them using Stampin' Blends Markers in Pecan Pie and Real Red, with Daffodil Delight used for the window light detail.  The wreath was coloured with my Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends, and dots added with the Garden Green Stampin' Write Marker.

I mounted each house onto a Basic White circle cut with a Stylish Shapes Die.  The Real Red hearts were punched out using the Humble Home punch.

Next up on tonight's blog hop is Claire Daly:

If the link doesn't work, or if you would like to see a full list of participants in this week's blog hop, head over to Sharon Davern's blog.  Sharon does a wonderful job of co-ordinating our Heart of Christmas shares each week.

Listed below are all the products I used to make my card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

I am going travelling for the next couple of weeks, so will miss at least two of the upcoming blog hops, but I look forward to sharing more Christmassy goodness on my return!
