STAMPIN' UP! FRIENDLY HELLO FRIENDSHIP CARD

Did you see the card I shared earlier this week, showing off the new Friendly Hello bundle that is available for free with a $180+ order?  In the process of making that card, I created a similar background for a second card, using strips of different patterned DSP cut with an Ornate Layers Die.  This time I adhered the horizontal strips straight to the Thick Basic White card base, without a mat of Basic Black in between.

Here is the card I made using that background, and floral stamps from the Friendly Hello stamp set:

I just love the colours in this Designer Series Paper.  It is easy to colour co-ordinate stamped images, by colouring with Stampin' Blends in the same colours - in this case, Pool Party, Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green.  I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, some berry sprigs in Petal Pink ink, and background splatters in Pool Party and Fresh Freesia ink.  The stamped piece was cut out using a Hippo & Friends Die.

I layered a length of Pool Party Sheer Ribbon and a length of White Glittered Organdy Ribbon together before tying both layers into a bow.

Some Iridescent Rhinestones (aren't they gorgeous?!) add a bit more sparkle.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
