STAMPIN' UP! RADIATING STITCHES BIRTHDAY CARD FEATURING MINI ALPHABET DIES

For her birthday this year, my daughter-in-law wanted a pair of lavender Crocs.  I made a card in complementary colours - a very simple design, involving NO stamping, but I had fun making it.

Here's how the colour of the Crocs sits with Stampin' Up!'s Highland Heather card:

I custom-coloured a piece of Basic White card, in colours to complement the Crocs.  Here's the card panel, on which I had drawn stripes, using Stampin' Blends markers in Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather and Summer Splash.  I drew a line in the light tone, then dark tone, of each colour, repeating all the way down the card.

This is the card I created.  I cut the larger Radiating Stitches frame from Fresh Freesia card, and matted it on a slightly larger piece of Summer Splash card.  The smaller rectangle was cut from Highland Heather card, also using Radiating Stitches Dies.

Using Mini Alphabet Dies, I cut the sentiment from my custom-coloured panel.  In Color Shimmer Gems, and Purple Fine Shimmer Gems, add a bit of sparkle to complement the Wink of Stella on the letters.

The two hearts were also cut from my striped card, using Radiating Stitches Dies.  I also painted these die-cuts with Wink of Stella.

It's a bit cute, don't you think?
