STAMPIN' UP! STIPPLED ROSES BIRTHDAY CARD

 Today I have another Pool Party card to share with you, as I have so enjoyed creating with the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper.  It's a Sale-A-Bration freebie, available if you purchase $90+ of products from Stampin' Up!'s catalogues.

Again, I've used two of the patterned papers for my background.  I sponged the edges in ink that matches the papers - Pool Party and Wild Wheat respectively.

The sentiment, from So Sincere, was white heat-embossed on Pool Party card.  I cropped it with the larger of the two sentiment label dies from the Sending Dies set.  After I had die-cut it, I moved the card strip in the die, and cut it again, to customise the size closer to the sentiment.

I used Everyday Details Dies to cut the Basic White rectangle on which the main design elements of the card sit.  It's mounted on a slightly larger Pool Party rectangle, with edges sponged using Pool Party ink.

The Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs I have added to my card throw all sorts of colours in different light, and from different angles.  I used white discs for the flower centres, and Pool Party discs in the top right-hand corner of my card.

I'd hoped this close-up would better show the roses I stamped in Pool Party ink, on the linen-look Pool Party paper, but they're a bit faint!

I die-cut two clusters of leaves from Wild Wheat card, and all the little flowers from Pool Party card, using Stippled Roses dies.

The focal panel of the card has been raised up on Stampin' Dimensionals, to sit above the Pool Party Crinkle Ribbon.
