STAMPIN' UP! ADORING HEARTS FRIENDSHIP CARD IN ORCHID OASIS

Orchid Oasis is one of my least-used Stampin' Up! colours. After showcasing it in this week's Colour Creations blog hop, I decided to create a couple more cards, as a personal challenge.  This one features the gorgeous new Adoring Hearts Hybrid 3D embossing folder, and co-ordinating dies.

I first embossed a panel of Thick Basic White card using the embossing folder.  Next, I inserted the largest die, and a piece of Orchid Oasis card, into the embossing folder and ran it through my Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine.  This allowed me to emboss and die-cut the hearts in one pass through.

After die-cutting the Orchid Oasis hearts, I used a small blending brush to add white craft ink to the debossed side of four of the hearts.  I then adhered these hearts (using Multipurpose Liquid Glue) over the top of the larger hearts on the white embossed piece.  The small silver hearts in this close-up were cut using another of the dies in the Adoring Hearts Dies set.

Another single heart die was used to cut the Silver Adhesive Glimmer Paper heart.

On a piece of Orchid Oasis card, I white heat-embossed the sentiment, from the Hope You Know stamp set.  I used the smallest circle in the Everyday Details Dies to cut it out.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
