Today's share uses the gorgeous flower from the stamp set, that I coloured with Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade, and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends. Flirty Flamingo is a colour I've hardly used, but I'm thinking I have to add it to my repertoire of regularly-ussed colours!
Here's a close-up of the custom coloured ribbon I tied into a bow. I wanted Flirty Flamingo ribbon, so used the dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends marker to colour some Whisper White Classic Weave ribbon. I hope you find this tip helpful! Alcohol markers are great for colouring ribbon, as the ink dries almost immediately.
I stamped the sentiment directly onto Designer Series Paper, and used my Stamparatus to ensure a good coverage of ink. I had to stamp the sentiment three times to get it to my desired level of darkness! The Stamparatus makes this process so easy and quick, with no worry about not lining up the image each time.
Listed below are the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card. If you'd like to buy them for yourself, and you live in Australia, I would love for you to shop with me, if you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. You can reach my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
Please come back to visit in the next few days, as I will be sharing more cards in my Humming Along series.
