I have used the sketch as a basis for my son's birthday card. Jack turns 20 tomorrow, and, in true "Mother of the Year" style, I will be away for two days, soaking up the fun at a Stampin' Up! event in Melbourne. Thankfully, I have very understanding sons!
I've kept the card simple, since a "no fuss" approach is necessary for this young man. I'm loving the Go Wild DSP stack for masculine cards. The paper dictated my colour scheme, of Tip Top Taupe, Basic Black, and Whisper White.
Thanks for visiting my blog today. Please make sure you check out the rest of the Design Team's creations over at Just Add Ink - and, if you can find the time, how about joining in the fun?
Happy 20th to your son, Christine! You've created a fabulous card perfect for a young man. Have fun at your SU event!
ReplyDeleteAs always, you've excelled with the masculine Christine. Love the design and the neutrals colour palette is perfect for a 20yr old male. L'm sure you've more than made up for your absence..:0)
