I stamped the dots, from Dotty Angles, in Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, and Rich Razzleberry ink, on a piece of Whisper White card. This formed the background for a sparkly orange flower (coloured using blender pens and ink, then covered in Crystal Effects, with a sprinkling of Dazzling Diamonds).
A bit of paper-piercing, some ribbon, and a cute sentiment punched out with my new Washi Label punch, finished off the card.
Here's a closer view of the flower:
I stamped the flower using our new Archival Basic Black ink; beautiful and crisp, with no 'bleeding' of the ink when I used blender pens and ink. I do now realise that I coloured all of the flower (including leaves) orange ... but am using "creative licence" as my defence!
I've listed below the Stampin' Up! products used to make this card. NB: Best Thoughts is a set you may only earn for free, with a qualifying order (so the price shown is indicative only).
