STAMPIN' UP! AWESOMELY ARTISTIC, IN BLUES

I've been having a little play with the gorgeous new Awesomely Artistic stamp set.  I used my biggest acrylic block, and mounted three stamps onto it, to make stamping of the images quick and easy.

After stamping the floral, dragonfly and splatter images on Very Vanilla card using Versamark ink, I sprinkled clear embossing powder over the panel, and used my Heat Tool to melt the embossing powder.  Then, using sponges, I applied Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon, and Sahara Sand ink to the card.  Such a simple technique, that gives beautiful (and different) results every time.

This set lends itself beautifully to collage stamping, and emboss-resist.  I can see myself trying out several different colour combinations.  Once I'd mounted the main panel onto a piece of Lost Lagoon card, I added a few Basic Pearls, and a stamped and die-cut sentiment atop a bit of ruffled lace ribbon.

The table below shows all of the Stampin' Up! products used to make this card; if you click on any of the thumbnail images, you'll be taken to my online store, where you can purchase them for yourself.
