Stampin' Up! has released a fabulous new Christmas stamp set in the 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue. It's called Lots of Joy, and I was lucky enough to get it for free ... for making a spectacle of myself on stage at our recent South Pacific Inspire.Create.Share. event!
I've inked it up for the first time, for this week's
Merry Monday challenge.
I created a tag using my Scalloped Tag Topper punch, and stamped three of the images from Lots of Joy, in Real Red and Smoky Slate ink.
My colour choices were dictated by the paper I chose to use - it's new, too, and is called Merry Moments Designer Series Paper.
Here's a better view of the silver glimmer on the card:
This is the first card I've made with Stampin' Up!'s new Thick Whisper White card. Finally, we have an awesome white cardstock that is perfect for card bases! (Our standard Whisper White cardstock is beautiful for stamping on, but has proven a bit flimsy to use as card bases.) I'm very happy!
All of the products used to make this card are shown below. If you click on any of the thumbnail images, you'll be taken direct to my online store.

Wowzers!!! Beyond gorgeous. Lovely color combo...there is just something about red, gray and silver together!! Thanks for sharing with us at Merry Monday. hugs, :)
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning! I'm amazed at how well the colors work together... somehow red is always matched with gold in my mind, not with silver. But your card certainly shows what's possible!
ReplyDeleteThe Red and the Smoky Slate look great together and I love how you have embossed the stripes to tie it all together.
