I fell in love straight away with the new Birthday Blossoms stamp set, and Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper (which comes in a 6" x 6" stack). I've named my blog post #1, because I can see myself making loads of different cards with this stamp set and paper combo.
Here's what I made last night. Everything, except the stitched rectangle die, is Stampin' Up! You can buy the products from my online SU! store, by clicking on the thumbnail images below the photo of my card.
I am very excited that we now have Basic Black stitched satin ribbon - I've wanted black satin ribbon from SU! for ages!
The floral spray in the bottom left-hand corner was stamped in Calypso Coral ink, onto Watercolor Paper. I then used my Aquapainter to draw the colour inwards on the petals. The two larger flowers were black-embossed on Watercolour Paper, watercoloured with Calypso Coral ink, and punched out; the leaves (also black-embossed on Watercolor Paper) were watercoloured in Old Olive ink, cut out, and placed behind the blooms.
I hope you like this card as much as I do - those gorgeous new products are really calling to me, to create more!
This card is just stunning my friend! And I love all of that gorgeous water colouring. That paper and those stamps are all beautiful :)
