The wedding itself was a casual affair (second time around for both lovely people), and the invitation was rather organic - kraft, with twine and a black bicycle printed on it. I wanted to carry on that theme in the card I made for the special couple. Although I couldn't quite swing a tandem bike, like the invitation had, this was the closest I could get to it, using the fabulous new Sheltering Tree stamp set:
I modified the sentiment, by inking up "is a sheltering tree" (omitting the "friendship") in black ink, and stamping it on kraft card. I then used my Good Greetings stamp set (a recent promotional set, that can't be bought), and used Real Red ink on the "hello love" stamp, just inking the word "love". Doesn't the font go well with the Sheltering Tree font? I was happy with my custom sentiment.
Here's the inside of the card (just so it was obvious it was a wedding card, LOL):
Listed below are all the current Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card. It's the first card I have made using Sheltering Tree ... what a fun set to use. The possibilities are endless! Follow my blog for more samples coming up.

ReplyDeleteHi Christine, Love your card, it turned out nice, maybe if you masked part of the bicycle to make it a tandem one it might work for you, just an idea! Cheers Anna.
