STAMPIN' UP! GEARED UP GARAGE BIRTHDAY CARD IN BERMUDA BAY

My first love, in cardmaking, is masculine cards.  You wouldn't know it, with the prolific creating I've been doing lately, with floral images!  Today we're taking a break in the flower card transmission, for me to share a masculine card I made with a colour scheme I wanted to try.   It didn't turn out quite as I had pictured in my head, but I'm okay with it.  It was good to have a play with some stamp sets I have neglected for a while.

The grungy stamp on the left hand side of the front panel was stamped first in Terracotta Tile, then overstamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  It's a little hard to tell from the photo, but there is a knot in the black satin ribbon ... and the gears are die cut from Black Foil.  I coloured the car with Stampin' Blends.  The whole Whisper White panel, after being stamped, was embossed with the Subtle embossing folder, and I have lightly sponged around the edges of that panel with Basic Gray ink.

Listed below are all the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card.  They are available to purchase from my online store, and I would love for you to shop with me if you live in Australia ad don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  You can get to my store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
