A brightness alert accompanies this post; I've made what I hope will be a very HAPPY birthday card for someone!

This week's challenge at Sunny Challenges & Creations, is to create a card or other papercraft project based on the following sketch - and using the colours Soft Suede, Tempting Turquoise and Melon Mambo.

Here's my card:

Stamps: Create A Cupcake
Card: Soft Suede, Whisper White
DSP: Flirtatious Specialty Designer Series Paper (doily), Tempting Turquoise and Melon Mambo Patterns Designer Series Papers
Ink: Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and Soft Suede stampin' pads
Other: Cupcake Builder punch, Circles #2 die, 1 3/4" Circle punch, Word Window punch, Modern Label punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch, Soft Suede taffeta ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, sponge daubers, stamp-a-ma-jig, stampin' dimensionals, mini glue dots


  1. I think you need an awesomeness alert Christine! I wasn't too sure of the colour combo until I scrolled down to your card - what can I say but "WOW!", your card is fabulous!!! Love the layered circles/doily & the teeny snippet of the dotted scallop ribbon border punch we get to see underneath. Hugs :) PS The cuppa is working *wink*

  5. Christine, love your card. I love the way you used the medallion from the Flirtatious DSP and that you used Tempting Turquoise DSP as well.
