STAMPIN' UP! BRIGHT & BEAUTIFUL PAPER STRIP CARD #4

Here are the backgrounds I created with Bright & Beautiful DSP strips adhered to Basic White card panels:

The last card in my series started off as the piece in the bottom right of the photo.  I cut it out using a Scalloped Contours Die.

Before adhering the die-cut piece to my Bubble Bath card base, I added a starry panel to the bottom third of the card front.  I had die-cut stars, using Beautiful Balloons Dies, for card #2 in my series.  I used the negative cut out pieces as a stencil, to create a subtly-patterned starry background with a Blending Brush and Bubble Bath ink, on Bubble Bath card.

The sentiment and presents were created using the Wanted To Say Dies.  "Celebrate" was cut from Bubble Bath and Basic White card.  The presents and bows were cut from Bubble Bath and Berry Burst card, and sponged in the same coloured inks.

Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon was threaded through the open scallops, and a bow from the same ribbon added.  Once again, I've used Tinsel Gems Four-Pack for my beautiful glassy embellishments, both at the top of the card and on the bow of the present in the centre.

I've listed below all the products used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

STAMPIN' UP! BRIGHT & BEAUTIFUL PAPER STRIP CARD #3

Welcome to the second day of my "Bright & Beautiful Paper Strip Card" series!  As explained yesterday, I created four backgrounds, from strips of patterned papers adhered to Basic White card panels, and used different dies to cut them out for my card designs.  Here are the backgrounds I created:

Today's card was created from the background in the bottom left of the picture.  I cropped it using the largest Countryside Corners Die.  The piece was then matted on some Berry Burst DSP also from the Bright & Beautiful pack.  After sponging the edges of the Berry Burst paper, I matted it onto a layer of Basic White card, and then onto a Thick Basic White card base.

For the sentiment, I had a bit of fun with the Wanted to Say Dies, and cut the "Happy Birthday" in two colours - Azure Afternoon and Berry Burst.  Both words are matted on Basic White.

The Lemon Lime Twist ribbon is from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack.

I stamped the balloons in Lemon Lime Twist and Bubble Bath ink, stamping extra detail in the same coloured inks.  My much-loved Tinsel Gems Four-Pack again provided the glassy gems that adorn the balloons.  I used white baker's twine for the balloon strings, teasing the strands apart with the paper-piercing tip of my Take Your Pick tool.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

This afternoon I will share the fourth, and final, card in my paper strip series.  I hope you'll come back, for more ideas of how to use this fun paper, and co-ordinating stamps and accessories.

STAMPIN' UP! BRIGHT & BEAUTIFUL PAPER STRIP CARD #2

I created four backgrounds using strips of patterned paper from the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper pack.  Here's what the backgrounds looked like, before I used them to make cards:

The card I am sharing was made from the panel in the top left of the photograph.  I used the largest Radiating Stitches Die to cut it out.  This die is a little shorter than our Australian-sized card fronts, so I added a strip of the same patterned paper to the bottom before matting it on a layer of Blueberry Bushel card.

Using Beautiful Balloons Dies, I die-cut stars from Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Blueberry Bushel and Bubble Bath card.  After embossing them with a Basics 3D embossing folder, I sponged the edges with inks matching the card colours.

I used the Light Berry Burst Stampin' Blends Marker to colour some Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon.  The sentiment, from Phrases For All, was stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink directly onto the DSP.  I've used gorgeous glassy dots from the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack, to complement the colours used for the stars.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

I hope you'll come back tomorrow, to see two more cards made from the paper strip backgrounds.  The Bright & Beautiful DSP, and Beautiful Balloons bundle, make for such fun, festive, designs, don't you think?
