STAMPIN' UP! DANDELION WISHES CARD IN SOFT COLOURS

In an effort to use some of the stamp sets I have had for ages, but not used very much, I have made a card using Dandelion Wishes.  I love what I've come up with, and I hope you do, too. 😊

On three separate pieces of Whisper White card I stamped the triple dandelion image, once each in  Blushing Bride, Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam.  I then stamped the same image over the top of each, in Versamark ink, and embossed it with white embossing powder.  Using blending brushes, I added ink to each piece, using the same coloured ink I'd stamped the dandelions with.  I then cropped each little art piece into circles, using Stitched Shapes dies.

The sentiment was stamped (in Blushing Bride ink) on the Whisper White panel before I embossed it using my Subtle 3D embossing folder.  Sequins in soft pink, blue and green were added near each circle, and a crinkled seam binding bow finished off the card.

Listed below are the products I used to make my card.  They are all available to purchase from my online store (if you live in Australia).  I'd love for you to shop with me, if you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  You can get to my store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.

Tonight I'll be sharing a Colour Creations Showcase card (we're working with Cherry Cobbler this week), so I hope you'll come back to visit.

STAMPIN' UP! STITCHED STARS MASCULINE BIRTHDAY CARD 1

If you're a long-time follower of my blog, you will know that I love to make masculine birthday cards.  I think that the dark and moody patterned papers from the Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper pack lend themselves well to "guy" cards.  These papers are intended for Halloween, but I like to use things in an unexpected way sometimes.

I started off by adhering a stitched rectangle die-cut piece of Cajun Craze, to a larger Whisper White panel.  I had cut numerous stars from the DSP, using my Stitched Stars dies ... these were glued over the two matted card panels, and any overhanging points were cut off with Paper Snips.  I ran the decorated panels through my die-cutting and embossing machine, using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.  I then matted these layers onto some Pretty Peacock card, and a Basic Black card base.

The sentiment on the front of the card is from Happiest of Birthdays, I added a simple, not-too-fussy, decoration inside the card, courtesy of my So Much Happy stamp set:

The black rhinestones I used on the card are no longer current, and the papers aren't yet orderable (they will be coming out on 4th August, so not long now!), but all other products I used are listed below.  They're available to purchase from my online store, if you live in Australia.

STAMPIN' UP! SO MUCH HAPPY BALLOON BIRTHDAY CARD

While I was playing with bright colours recently, I put together Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana papers, and loved the look.  I've used those colours with some black and white, and a fun embossing folder technique, to make this cute birthday card:

I inked up the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder, with my very juicy Coastal Cabana inkpad (hence some dark blobby bits, that I like the look of here!).  I inserted a piece of Coastal Cabana Designer Series Paper, and ran it through my die-cutting and embossing machine.    I love the effect.  I've done this on cardstock, often, but using Designer Series Paper that already has a pattern on it gives a whole new look.

The matte-finish resin dots were perfect for this playful design.  I'm thinking I need to use Coastal Cabana more!  I favour Pool Party and Bermuda Bay when I'm looking for greeny-blues, but I must stop neglecting this lovely colour.

Listed below are all the products I used to make this card.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, and live in Australia, I would love for you to shop in my online store.  You can get there by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below.
