STAMPIN' UP! WILDFLOWER BIRTHDAY CUPCAKE CARD

 I LOVE the new Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper, that has just come out in Stampin' Up!'s new Mini Catalogue.  It is part of the Wildflower Birthday Suite Collection (stamp set, dies, DSP, and embellishments).  The colours are gorgeous, some of the designs have luscious gold details, and the pack includes sheets of die-cut pieces, and pre-printed images that can be cut down.  I am not normally drawn to ready-made die cuts or printed tags, so I challenged myself to use the components to make up some cards.  Here is the first one I'd like to share with you:

On a piece of Soft Sea Foam Wildflower Birthday DSP, I repeatedly stamped (in Soft Sea Foam ink) "birthday", from the Birthday Celebration bundle.  After sponging the edges of this paper, with Soft Sea Foam ink, I adhered it to a Pretty in Pink card layer, and a Thick Basic White card base. The die-cut greeting was created with the Wanted To Say Dies, and Pool Party and Basic White card.  I used a die from the  Birthday Celebration bundle, to cut flowers from Pool Party, Peach Pie and Pretty in Pink card.  The flower centres are sweet little Party Dots, that are part of this new suite collection.

The cupcake image is one of the pre-printed designs in the Wildflower Birthday DSP pack.  I trimmed it down so I could fit it onto a Pretty In Pink square, die-cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies.
