STAMPIN' UP! CLIMBING ROSES "SENDING LOVE" CARD IN PETAL PINK

I am in love with the Climbing Roses bundle of products, on page 9 of Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Catalogue.  This gorgeous stamp set, and co-ordinating thinlits dies, make it easy to make beautiful cards in lots of different colourways.  I have decided lately to focus on designs I like, and to recreate them in different colours.  If something really appeals, why try reinventing the wheel with every card?  Over the next few days, I have three cards to show you, all using the same stamps and dies but different colour combinations.

The first card I'd like to share features Petal Pink ... inkpad, Stampin' Blends (alcohol markers) and variegated ribbon.

How nice is the sentiment label?  I love the shape of it, and the "holey" border.  I inked up the smaller rose spray stamp from the set, in Petal Pink ink, then stamped it once onto scrap paper before straight away stamping the image onto the Whisper White label.  This gave a subtle background on which to stamp the sentiment (in Soft Suede ink).
