I have used a different colouring medium/method on today's card. My first two Climbing Roses cards included images stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then coloured using Stampin' Blends. Today's card features roses stamped in StazOn Jet Black ink, then watercoloured using my Poppy Parade inkpad, and an aquapainter. I learnt a new tip from
Erica Cerwin, for picking up ink with which to watercolour. If you gently press an acrylic stamp block into your ink pad, it will pick up loads of colour, and it can then be used as a palette. I much preferred this, to squeezing the lid of my closed inkpad to have ink pool inside the lid. It's super-easy to then clean the block with a baby wipe. I was also inspired by Erica to use Poppy Parade! It's not a colour I have used much in recent years, but the vibrant orangey-red is quite stunning.
Listed below are all the Stampin' Up! products I used to make this card. If you would like to buy them for yourself, clicking on any of the thumbnail images below will take you directly to my online store. I'd love for you to shop with me, if you live in Australia, and don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.
I hope I have given you some fun ideas for using this lovely bundle of products. The possibilities are endless, and I look forward to making some more cards in different colours again.
