JAI #347: STAMPIN' UP! TASTY TRUCKS

Kim has set a colour challenge at Just Add Ink this week.

These colours, together, had me confounded for a little while.  I don't usually like to combine purple with pink, or with red, so was a bit stumped.  However, once I decided to use the cute little food truck stamp from Tasty Trucks (a stamp set we can earn for free during Sale-A-Bration), I had a lot of fun incorporating all the colours.  In order to fit in Pear Pizzazz, I placed my little truck on grass, rather than asphalt.

I used blender pens, and ink pooled in the lids of my inkpads, to colour the image.  After stamping tiny cupcakes all over the Rose Red piece of card, I ran the card through my Big Shot, with the Festive embossing folder, to give a more, well, festive, texture!

I have listed below all the products used to make my card.  If you would like to buy them for yourself, clicking on one of the thumbnail images will take you direct to my online store.  *NB:  Tasty Trucks may not be purchased; it is available to earn for free, with a $90 product purchase.

The rest of the Just Add Ink Design Team's creations, using this colour combo, can be found here.  We'd love for you to join us, by creating something with the challenge colours, and linking up on the Just Add Ink blog.

  2. Oh this is such a fun card, Christine! Your truck is super cute and I love the soft look of the grass underneath. And your "happy" blending into the background is such a clever technique too. xx
